Obituary of Ann T. Sloane

Sloane, Ann T. (nee Staib) of New Hyde Park passed away on April 15th, 2024.  Born in the Bronx on October 14, 1926, she met Arthur (Artie) at a friends house.  They were married over 70 years and had 5 children.  She was predeceased by her husband Arthur and her daughters Denise Marhoffer (Joe) and Janice Sloane.  Ann’s love of gardening brought her to Hicks where she worked for many years.  She is survived by her daughters Kathleen Vedder (Larry), Laura Interrant (Gary) and son William (Carol).  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.   Service will be Friday April 19th at Weigand Funeral Home 49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park from 3pm-7pm.  Ann will be buried at National Cemetery in a private ceremony.
